THE SALVATION ARMY has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880 and helped more than a quarter million people last year throughout the State. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. It's about family, togetherness and counting your blessings.
The Salvation Army is blessed to have so many kind and giving people supporting us in our work to help others. We are thankful that we can act in His name to change lives and that people in New Jersey are willing to share their good fortune with those in need.
As you gather your family to count your blesssings, remember the words of Psalm 107:1, "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."
